Q: How to receive the invitation to apply?


The government regularly conducts draws and invites applicants who meet the all criteria from each category to apply. 

The number of invitations and the frequency of draws depend on the annual immigration quota allocation.

Q: My highest degree was completed outside of Canada. Will the government recognize it?

 

Need to complete academic certification, valid for 5 years

 

Q: Do I need a medical examination?

 

Yes

Q: Do I only need to provide the country of nationality if I have no criminal record?

 

After the age of 18, in any country that the applicant has lived for more than 6 months needs to provide the country’s criminal record

Q: What is a technical certificate?

 

It proves that a person is qualified to work in a certain technology industry in Canada.

This means that the applicant:

  • Passed the certification exam

  • Meet the requirements for working in each province

Your Occupation Classification (NOC) code is the job number listed in Canada’s official job classification system
